Teaching
Brett Parnell has been teaching in the NYC area for over two decades. He received his Master of Music in classical guitar performance from Yale University where he studied with Ben Verdery. He has performed with countless bands, ensembles, as well as playing for two Tony award winning shows, Justin Peck’s Illinoise and Daniel Fish’s 2019 revival of Oklahoma. Brett worked with hundreds of students in private lessons as well as small group classes while working at NYC Guitar School.
While specializing in guitar Brett has also learned banjo, mandolin, bass, pedal steel, and ukulele which he also gives lessons in. He recently purchased a cello but you don't want him showing you anything on that. You can book a lesson online here.
